Post Election Message from Prof Violet- Nov 3rd

This morning, waking up to the gray skies and dark rolling clouds of an ‘apocalyptic’ post-election day-
You could feel it in the air.
You didn’t even have to turn on the news or read the papers because
‘Fear Consciousness’, the Trademark of LOVE DEFEATED, reared its familiar head in every friend I talked to, every glum set of eyes that I met.
Over the course of the day, I found myself revisiting almost identical thoughts to the ones when the reality of 9/11 hit-
‘What will the quality of my personal interactions now be?’
‘How will the quality of my life now change as a result?’
and of course, as a social architect and community leader-
‘How does this turn of events affect the collective consciousness of the communities I work with?’

Though certainly expected, it still hits me hard when those I care for and respect choose to respond to Nov 2nd’s move on the American game board with such apathy and dejection.
Understandably, (hopefully?) these gut reactions will warm into a more intelligent response, but still …
My heart now swells in response- and though it may not come out as best as I would like, please consider the following words as a kind gesture from my heart to yours.

Dear friends,
If only I were able to share with you, all the Wonder and Beauty I have witnessed since 9/11, facilitating events under the banner of Superstar Nation and Kinky Salon with Miss Polly P-
Participating with a fledgling community of tender, daring, passionate and visionary souls exploring and experiencing it’s own power, creativity and abundance of spirit!

So, over the course of the day, as I was trying to craft this response, I thought about a lot of things; True Democracy, Medicine Shows, collective initiation, the metaphor of GOLD as it pertains to our increasing alchemically polarized Nation and today’s Social Architects as the new Pioneers of the Wild West …
but the voice said,
‘No… Just relate thoughts and experiences as they came to you today..there is bounty there…’

O.k. then


I woke up and gave thanks for the rain and the dark clouds rolling through the sky.
The green of our ferns and the pink Geranium flowers looked especially lush today!
And an added bonus, Thunder struck in the heavens!
‘Nature’s grace is everywhere…’

I watered my lovely collection of house and Tillandsia airplants,
Thanking them for bringing their green presence to our urban dwelling.
‘Cultivate peace and vitality in your home…’

I still felt the heaviness of the night before- the angry mood of bohemians gathered in a cold warehouse to watch election returns still clinging to me…
‘Find compassion to allow…’

A member of the community came by this morning and graciously helped me sort many bags of trash and then kindly whisked it away, glad to help.
‘Give gratitude for every gesture, recognize every kind action…’


I spoke with fabulous performers today designing an evening of celebration in the week to come-
‘ The direct experience of Beauty, especially one’s own, is transformative…’

I reflected on the still depth and meditative artistry of the Day of The Dead Altars I had seen the day before in The Mission Districts’ Garfield Park, created by many artists commemorating dear ones lost, Saints and luminary personalities
‘The ancestors lend us their wisdom and support…if only we still ourselves to receive it…they say- Live Life! Celebrate each moment!.’

I reflected on the untapped potential of positive sexuality and empowered sensuality I experienced at our past Halloween Kinky Salon and within the KS community in general…
‘Ecstatic consciousness calls to us and the body responds…’

Rather than slipping into post election fear, I reaffirmed myself today, as a Champion of Play, swearing to do my best to uphold the principles of Social Excellence supported by SuperStar Avatar and providing individuals and communities with the tools to realize and share their abundance.
‘No-one but you is accountable to your own evolution…your own well-being’’

We met with a new friend offering to help organize a new series of events and classes at Mission Control.
As well, I let my dreaming Avatar self remember, and thus script, the winter days and nights to come at Mission Control; good times of deepening friendships, personal sharing and growth, community connections and rejuvenating explorations
‘Design experiences of beauty…cultivate positive mirrors...’


These lessons were what made my post election day and I share them with you- and though I could have resigned myself to dwell within a menu of apocalyptic fantasies…I accepted the invitation that was handed to me.

Choose Love- Choose Beauty -Choose joy

And so, I extend that invitation to you.
I live in the same world as you.
I experience fear and doubt and shock at the choices our Nation is making.
I wonder what freedom is next on the chopping block.

But let it be said- and I affirm this for myself -
I commit myself to living consciously, joyfully, playfully
Finding simple ways every day to live my Truth,
For the world is what we make it!….
and a Nation formed on a foundation of LOVE, BEAUTY and JOY can embrace a Nation embraced by fear

So here, I reveal the intention behind what Superstar Avatar was truly designed for-
for In my desire to live and share a life of conscious, joyful collaboration and celebration-

I needed a rallying flag, a methodology, a guidebook…. so that I could send out the signal- could find like souls, could identify all the others out there that were making similar choices and
connect! !

So by My Choice I affirm the following:
I live in a Nation that supports each citizen in realizing and sharing their identity, skills, talents and passions, one formed of friends and communities that share a love of celebration, life and recognizing each other’s true beauty…
A Nation that supports each other in growing gracefully, exchanging playfully and disagreeing with respect…
A wildly creative and diverse Nation enabled, connected and ready to collaborate through the use of SA’s social standards -
A Nation of Tolerance, Humor, Intelligence and Heart.
A Nation of Avatars with their Superpowers at the ready, hailing far and wide, beyond all borders, within institutions, empowering festivals, catalyzing rejuvenation and assisting playfully wherever needed.

A Nation of SuperStar Avatars.
Open and Inviting.
A SuperStar Nation.
